Illawarra Flyfishers Club

9th August 2006

It was a tough day at the office today. Chris Mills and I went for a bit of a walk and as it turned out I had one of the best polaroiding days I have had for a long time. The lake was still, glassy and clear, I saw at least 10 cruising browns and one cruising rainbow and finished up with three browns to 56cm, one rainbow of around 40cm and drop a couple of other fish. I was fishing a 17 foot leader with 5lb flurocarbon toippet and all the fish fell for a #10 Tom Jones type fly.
